History buffs have reacted to a minor oversight in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer which is being dubbed a historical inaccuracy of immense significance.

Christopher Nolan's latest release, Oppenheimer, has unsurprisingly opened to rave reviews and sturdy box office collections, despite its noir context. With all praise, re have been minor details emerging about film which may be counted in its negatives. Among se, is a historically inaccurate depiction of American flag during a rar crucial scene in film. History buffs have now been reacting to this seemingly innocuous oversight.

Oppenheimer receives flak from History buffs over American flag mistake

This was followed by a thre of m listing period-inappropriate examples of American flag on screen. 2012 TV movie Restless, 2019 film Jojo Rabbit and 1977 film A Bridge Too Far were part of list.

Oppenheimer's real-life grandson h recently mentioned in an interview how he disagrees with poison apple reference shown in film. Charles expressed no malice towards Nolan however, acknowledging his directorial prowess. He simply pointed out how re is no historical proof vetting narrative of poison apple.
