Cillian Murphy says the audience will never see Oppneheimer's deleted scenes

There is a perception among fans that several scenes were removed/deleted from the film during production. This stems from the fact that the final version is over three hours long. Speaking to Collider, Cillian Murphy reacted to this perception and said that there are no deleted scenes. He explained that the director Nolan has specific views on how his film should be presented and this leaves no room for unused footage.

'The script is the movie,' said Cillian Murphy

The Peaky Blinders actor added that owing to Nolan's vision, the whole script of Oppenheimer was brought to life. "There’s no deleted scenes in Christopher Nolan films. That’s why there are no DVD extras on his movies because the script is the movie. He knows exactly what’s going to end up– he’s not fiddling around with it trying to change the story."
