Parasite, which is a dark comedy film about vast gap between rich and poor in South Korea, garnered several Oscar minations, that includes a mination for best picture, best director, best screenplay, and best international feature film.

In interview, Bong said that every time y anunced a new mination, it was thrilling, because y did t anticipate this.
