Parasite director Bong Joon Ho says, 'BTS contributed to Korean genre popularity', read
Parasite director Bong Joon Ho is a fan of BTS, he also believes that BTS' is much more influential all over the world. Here is what he said about the band.

Parasite directed by Bong Joon Ho won Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture in Foreign Langu at Golden Globes 2020. He mentioned global sensations BTS, also kwn as Bangtan Sonyeondan, in his interviews. Boog Joon Ho’s Parasite won amongst best category which included Lulu Wang's Farewell, Pedro Almodovar's Pain and Glory from Spain, Ladj Ly's Les Misérables from France and more such acclaimed directorial work.

During red carpet event of Golden Globes, he made sure that he is recognised as a fan of BTS in one of interviews. He said in interview that even though he made it to Golden Globe 2020, he still thinks that BTS has much more following and influence than him. He expressed that Korean artists have a lot of dynamism and emotions towards ir craft and believe in mselves. He believes that BTS is one of m. Bong Joon Ho also mentioned BTS in his interview show with Jimmy Fallon at Tonight Show. He said to Jimmy that he especially enjoyed episode with BTS in it while answering some of Jimmy’s questions.

In his emotional speech at Golden Globes 2020, he talked about overcoming langu as a barrier in watching any langu films through a translator to deliver acceptance speech. Bong Joon Ho said that a wide range of films is more available w than ever before due to subtitles. He also mentioned how he was houred to be minated amongst international filmmakers.
