'I've hit pause button': Patty Jenkins awaits pandemic end to start 'Wonder Woman 3'

Jenkins, who directed the 2017 Wonder Woman and sequel Wonder Woman 1984, said before starting the third part she wants to absorb the result of this pandemic.

Director Patty Jenkins says till world doesn't recover from coronavirus pandemic she has decided to put on hold third film in Gal Gadot-led Wonder Woman franchise. Jenkins, who directed 2017 Wonder Woman and is looking forward to October 2 release of sequel Wonder Woman 1984, said before starting third part she wants to absorb result of this pandemic.

Earlier this year filmmaker had said that she was keen to work on ar installment of DC superhero saga as well as a spin-off set in Amazon.

''I've really hit pause button. Because truth is, where that plotline was coming from was our state of being six months ago. And so I want to make sure that I'm totally absorbing whatever result of this pandemic is. We're t starting to work on that movie right away," Jenkins told British magazine Total Film

''I'm hoping to do this Amazon movie before we do third 'Wonder Woman'. And I may t do eir of m. You never kw what will happen in this world, you kw?'' she added.   director said even though she has plans to make major changes in plotline of movie, she wants it to be influenced by all of this.
