Reese Wirspoon has shared an update with her fans regarding progress on her return as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde 3.  film is all set to return after close to two deces. actor mitted that unfortunately, she does not know when filming on Legally Blonde threequel will begin. However, she revealed that she speaks with Mindy Kaling about script 'all time.'

In an interview with outlet, Wirspoon revealed that team is just working on script currently. Once cast has a script, y can go on to make a film. She n jokes, "Ask Mindy Kaling!" as she does not know. However, later, actor shared that she and Kaling talk about it 'all time.'

As per Hollywood Reporter, details of 'Legally Blonde 3' were shared by MGM Studios President Pamela Abdy. producer said that Mindy Kaling and Dan Goor were writing film. She ded that Wirspoon was not just confirmed to star in, but was also producing with Lauren Neuster and Marc Platt.

Revealing plot details, Abdy shared that it would delve into what Reese's character Elle Woods would like at age 40. character will be a mor with a 'thriving career.' producer said that script is likely to be rey in first quarter and that it was a collaborative effort from many people.
