As per a report published by a leing news daily, Robert Pattinson and Johnny Depp’s much-anticipated film, Waiting For Barbarians will w get a digital release in US. makers have reportedly come to this decision due to Coronavirus outbreak in country. If reports are to be believed, Samuel Goldwyn Films has acquired rth American rights to Ciro Guerra’s feature film Waiting for Barbarians, which stars Johnny Depp, Robert Pattinson, Mark Rylance, Gana Bayarsaikhan, and Greta Scacchi in leing roles.

Reportedly, Goldwyn said film was originally slated for a atrical release, but due to COVID-19 pandemic, it will be w released on digital platforms in August. decision was taken due to uncertainty on reopening of atres, as country still fights Coronavirus.

Waiting for Barbarians

Starring Mark Rylance, Johnny Depp and Robert Pattinson in leing roles, Waiting for Barbarians follows story of an honest Magistrate, who works in a distant outpost and begins to question his loyalty to empire. Helmed by Ciro Guerra, movie also stars David Dencik, Sam Reid and Harry Melling in prominent roles.

Many studios, which h to delay releases of ir films, have w turned to online streaming platforms, in wake of Coronavirus spre. Some of se films include Trolls World Tour, Emma, Hunt, and  Invisible Man. In March, Netflix anunced that it would be establishing a $100 million Coronavirus relief fund to aid creative community.

Kumail Nanjiani and Isa Rae's Lovebirds, too, has shifted to Netflix. It was recently reported that much-awaited sequels to highly successful franchise, Mission: Impossible 7 is getting delayed due to on-going global catastrophe.

Reportedly, officials at Paramount studios have w pushed release of seventh Mission Impossible film to vember 19, 2021, and eighth film to vember 4, 2022. As per a report by a leing news publication, seventh film was scheduled to be shot in Italy. However, decision was dropped considering unprecedented Coronavirus outbreak in country.
