After filmmaker Martin Socrsese made an outrageous comment about Marvel movies, actor Samuel L. Jackson came forward to defend the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

After filmmaker Martin Socrsese made an outrous comment about Marvel movies saying that y don't capture true essence of cinema, actor Samuel L. Jackson came forward to defend Marvel Cinematic Universe. t only just in films, Samuel L. Jackson who esseys role of S.H.I.E.L.D chief Nick Fury in MCU, happens to be a true protector of his universe as he gave a befitting reply to ace filmmaker.

"I mean that's like saying Bugs Bunny ain't funny. Films are films. Everybody doesn't like his stuff eir. I mean, we happen to, but everybody doesn't," ANI quoted Samuel L. Jackson as saying.

"Everybody's got an opinion, so I mean it's okay. Ain't going to stop body from making movies," Samuel L. Jackson stated furr.

Martin Socrsese's criticises MCU movies

It isn't cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to ar human being," director told Empire magazine.

James Gunn and Joss Whedon on Martin Socrsese's comment on Marvel films

However, Samuel L. Jackson is t only one to break his silence on matter. Previously, Marvel filmmakers James Gunn and Joss Whedon, who have been at helm of various MCU projects, also expressed ir disappointment over Martin Socrsese's comment.

"Martin Scorsese is one of my 5 favorite living filmmakers. I was outrd when people picketed Last Temptation of Christ without having seen film. I’m saddened that he’s w judging my films in same way," James Gunn wrote in a recent post.

Whedon, who has worked on " Avengers" and "Avengers: of Ultron", also took to microblogging site to express his displeasure over veteran filmmaker's remarks. "I first think of @JamesGunn, how his heart & guts are packed into GOTG. I revere Marty, & I do see his point, but...," he tweeted alongside a link to Scorsese's interview. "Well re's a reason why 'I'm always angry'," he added. Peter Ramsey, director of "Spider-Man: Into Spider-Verse", said Scorsese is a "God", but "Marvel movies are fun and good. Chill".
