Samuel L Jackson claps back at Scorsese's comment on Marvel films

Samuel L. Jackson, upset on Scorsese’s remarks, pointed out the fact that films are films and not everyone happens to be a fan of all things Scorsese either.

Martin Scorsese recently commented about 'Marvel' movies, where he stated superhero movies are similar to “me parks” and do t capture real essence of cinema. Following in footsteps of Marvel filmmakers James Gunn and Joss Whedon, actor Samuel L. Jackson, expressed his opinions on matter, which was reported by a global media publication. 

Jackson reacts on Scorsese’s remarks

Samuel L. Jackson, upset over Scorsese’s remarks, pointed out fact that t everyone happens to be a fan of all things Scorsese eir. He explained that films are films, matter if y are realistic or t, it's like saying Bugs Bunny isn't funny. He also added that t everybody will take a liking to Scorsese’s style of movies eir.

actor furr added that he respects Martin’s opinions and that his opinions couldn’t stop anybody from making superhero movies. Jackson's comments came in response to an interview Scorsese recently gave, in which legendary filmmaker compared superhero films to me parks. Oscar-winning filmmaker declared Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as "t cinema" during an interview while promoting his upcoming movie ' Irishman'.

director also added that closest he can ever think of m, as well made as y are, with actors doing best y can under circumstances, is me parks. It isn't cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to ar human being.

filmmaker's comments have drawn extremely critical reactions on Twitter. ' Avengers' director Joss Whedon responded on Twitter, "I first think of @JamesGunn, how his heart and guts are packed into GOTG. I revere Marty, and I do see his point, but Well re's a reason why 'I'm always angry'," ( latter a reference to Bruce Banner's famous Avengers line).

He also added that Martin Scorsese is one of his five favourite living filmmakers, but he was outrd when people picketed Last Temptation of Christ without having seen film. He also wrote that he is sad by fact that he's w judging Marvel movies in same way. Gunn concluded by stating that he is t fond of people judging things without actually seeing m, wher it's a movie about Jesus or a genre.

Robert Cargill, who wrote screenplay for 'Doctor Strange', called Scorsese a "genius," but said, "anyone who thinks Marvel is only trying to make me park rides is being unjust and cynical."
