Shawn Mendes has been receiving support from some fans who have called out the cancel culture that was created due to certain allegations against Shawn.

Shawn Mendes recently faced backlash after certain tweets and posts of singer resurfaced on internet. It was alleged that singer made derogatory racist comments by using certain words that are looked down on as offensive. post was deleted and Shawn Mendes issued an apology stating reasons for his harsh and insensitive behaviour. tweets were made when singer was 15 and so after apology, people decided to move past it.

Many fans even extended ir support to singer and specified that Shawn Mendes had cleared it out and apologised for comments last year itself.
