Sona Mohapatra: Sonu Nigam asked Ram Sampath to 'keep me in check'

Sona Mohapatra in a tweet recently stated that Sonu Nigam had allegedly called her husband Ram Sampath and told him to keep his wife in check. This tweet by Sona is ar addition to her rant against singer and music producer. Previously, Ambarsariya singer also called Sonu Nigam for supporting MeToo accused Anu Malik. Sona Mohapatra’s comment on Sonu Nigam

Sona Mohapatra recently on her Twitter handle revealed that singer and music producer Sonu Nigam allegedly called up her husband Ram Sampath and advised him to keep a check on his wife. Ambarsariya singer tweeted about this incident in a series of tweets. This particular tweet came after a few viewers of singing reality show Indian Idol as Anu Malik is back in judges’ panel of show. Sona Mohapatra replied to this tweet by stating that Sonu Nigam championed cause of Anu Malik publicly.

A day earlier to this tweet, Sona Mohapatra also tweeted about being removed from judges’ panel of ar singing reality show. In tweet, she stated a few days after interviews about supporting #MeToo she was asked to leave her judge seat of show. In her tweet, she furr stated that a co-judge from same show told her that publicity she provided to singer and music producer Anu Malik took up TRP’s of ‘rival’ show.  She ended that tweet by saying that a sexual predator (Anu Malik) is back on same seat.

Sona Mohapatra in an interview with a media portal also spoke about #MeToo movement in India and its impact on music industry. She was quoted saying that women can be hardly heard in mainstream music industry. She furr stated that more male singers dominate industry and hence y also get to headline several events and shows whereas only a few female singers are a part of se events.
