In interview, Stephen King has shared his views on how to apt his books into movies. He said that if audience is expected to accept idea presented in movie, re has to be a sense of realism to it. He also said that re is a lot more cultural freedom in current times which was t re during 70s and 80s.

One of his most famous Stephen King’s books, titled Mr Mercedes, has been apted to a television series by Peacock Network. Mr Mercedes is a three-book series revolving around ventures of a retired detective. When asked about what he liked about aptation of Mr Mercedes he said that he loved how characters came true on screen. He also ded that things y did were something he would have done as well.
In interview, Stephen King also elaborated that he was t satisfied with CBS aptation of his science fiction vel Under Dome. He explained that it went off rails because characters were doing things which did t seem realistic. He also explained that everything was great in series except that y were cut off from world.
