In an interview with a news ncy, Steve Carell said that Force came around in a rar atypical way. Netflix h this premise that y thought might make a funny show. idea me everybody laugh in a meeting, an idea of a show about origins of a fictitious Force. He mentioned that he heard about idea through his nt, and Netflix pitched show to him, and n pitched show to Greg Daniels, and y all h same reaction to it.

Steve Carell ded that re was show,  idea aside from title. OTT platform asked him did he want to do a show called Force?' And he pretty much immediately gave it a d saying that its sounds great. He n called Greg Daniels and said, “Hey, you want to do a show called Force?” And Daniels said “yeah, that sounds good. Let's do it.” Carell stated that it was really based on thing, except title that me everybody laugh. So y were off and running with show.

Greg Daniels said y realised y h something to say about concept of making more military through a story that reflects some of America's best moments. Talking furr, he said that it h a lot of heroism and yet it also h a strong satirical element. Suddenly everybody has realised that re are riches to be h on moon, and y have got to stake our claim. It feels like re is w a scramble to colonise . contrast between that and super hopeful early days of NASA, when it was just such an achievement for all of humankind to get a person on moon, is a good subject for satire.
