The 'Inception' Climax Was a Reality and Not a Dream. Here's How We Know....

When Christopher lan's film 'Inception' hit screens in 2010, it created quite a buzz for its ambiguity. Leonardo DiCaprio starrer follows story of a thief who is given task of planting an idea into mind of a CEO. Although it has been eight years since film's release, lan until today has kept audiences guessing about which part of film was real and which part was a dream. Most of audiences (although some might t accept it) were left scratching ir hes after watching this highly acclaimed film. Acemy Award-winning director Christopher lan's directorial seamlessly drifted between reality and imagination. cliffhanger climax of film left everybody wondering if DiCaprio truly does reunite with his family. To jog your memories, in climax of film, Leo DiCaprio's character Cobb was shown reuniting with his family. During a screening of 'Inception' in London recently, actor Michael Caine, who plays Cobb's far-in-law Stephen Miles in film let cat out of bag.
While talking about film's ambiguity, actor said, "When I got script of Inception, I was a bit puzzled by it and I said to [lan]... 'when is it dream and when is it a reality?'"
actor furr went on to reveal that lan n told him that scenes which feature Caine's character are a reality. Yes, it's as simple that! and going by this explanation, since Caine is very much is a part of last scene, (in fact Stephen Miles is one who can be seen taking Cobb back to his family) it is real and t a dream.

This, of course, could have just been Christopher lan's attempt to simplify script for Caine and doesn't necessarily mean that it could t hold true for scenes which actor is t a part of. 'Inception', which also starred Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen P, Tom Hardy, Ken Watanabe, among ors, went on to win numerous awards.
