Mandalorian season 3 in development

According to a daily, a source close to production has confirmed that John Favreau, creator of series, has been writing season three for a while. art department, led by Doug Chiang, vice president and executive creative director of Lucasfilm, has been making concepts for past few weeks for Mandalorian season 3. sourced mentioned that y have just begun pre-production and are looking into furr ventures of Mandalorian in season 3.

Ar source confirmed to a daily about third season. It stated that production department started working on Mandalorian season 3 on April 20, 2020. source hinted to fact that department needs such a huge le time to explain why gears have begun grinding really early on.

news of season 3 being in development comes just around a month after production of season 2 has wrapped. Mandalorian was among few shows that completed its production before coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic led to a shutdown. Jon Favreau confirmed on Twitter that Mandalorian will return for a second season.
