The story-driven approach in the first two installations of the game managed to gain a massive fan following. The third and one of the most popular games of the series was The Witcher Wild Hunt, which let the gamers explore in its vast open world.

Witcher - what gamers expect from the series
The recent trailer for The Witcher series for Netflix has dropped and has gaming fans have already begun anticipating the series. The series is an adaptation of The Witcher novels written by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. Fans who have previously read the books and played the games have spotted many Easter eggs and iconic scenes in the trailer that was released.

According to a popular gaming website, The Witcher series is expected to have all four hundred side quest from the Wild Hunt game. This has made fans eager to watch the quests being played out in live-action. Speaking candidly executive producer Sean Daniel told a popular gaming blog that fans will not just see the other popular leading characters like Yennefer and Dandelion, but they will witness other favourite characters like Hattori the Dumpling Swordsman and Niellen, the Blackbough hunter who lost his wife.

Gamers are expecting the series to do justice to the games and the books likewise, they also wish to watch and explore the prequel before Geralt became The Witcher. Other gamers said that they expect the series to have scenes from the books which were not adapted in the games.
