Tommy Mottola to receive star honour on Hollywood Walk of Fame

American music executive Tommy Mottola will receive a Hollywood Walk of Fame star hour soon. As reported by foreign media, he will be joined by his celebrity friends like Gloria and Emilio Estefan to receive star hour. He was head of Sony Music Entertainment for about 15 years. event will be hosted by David Foster to celebrate music mogul's achievements in industry. He is popularly kwn for recognizing talents of a bunch of artists such as his former wife Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion, Hall and Oates, Carly Simon, Ricky Martin and John Mellencamp. His star will be at location 6270 Hollywood Blvd., which is near to star of his wife, Mexican artist Thalia. He is presently head of Mottola Group.

Hollywood Chamber of Commerce's Walk of Fame Selection Committee released a list of celebrities who will be receiving a star in year 2020. list features a range of top celebrities from TV, films, music, radio and ors. In motion pictures category, Hollywood actors such as Julia Roberts, Octavia Spencer, Chris Hemsworth, Mahershala Ali, Laurence Fishburne, Ruth E. Carter, and Spike Lee are all set to receive star. Names such as Christina Applegate, Andy Cohen, Cindy Crawford, Dr Phil McGraw, Terry Crews, Milo Ventimiglia, Wendy Williams, and Kathie Lee Gifford and ors will be a part of celebs from television. In music section, artists like Billy Idol, 50 Cent, Alicia Keys will receive hour.

Selection Committee Chair and Walk of Famer Vin Di Bona "This year's choices were particularly unique. We were able to recognize talents of 35 artists who have already built a legacy here in Hollywood,". "Also, we were able to celebrate many new talented artists who've touched our hearts in film, television, radio and a variety of musical categories," added Di Bona.
