Every year twice, British Government's Cabinet Office publishes a list of people receiving hours for merit, service to country or bravery. event is held shortly before New Year's Eve and on Saturday in June when Queen Elizabeth II's birthday is officially observed in England. However, this year it seems like British officials have me a huge goof-up before event, as Government mistakenly released vital information with list of people receiving hours. Here are details.

Recently, British officials apologised to those affected, as y mistakenly published home dresses of more than 1,000 people who received special hours, including singers like Elton John and Olivia Newton-John. list also included Oscar-winning director, Sam Mendes of American Beauty and Steve McQueen, who directed Oscar Award-winning film, 12 Years of Slave. Celebrities’ dresses were published online on December 27, when British Cabinet Office posted recipients of New Year's Hours.

Soon after wrong list was updated online, British Cabinet issued a statement, which re " information was removed as soon as possible. We apologize to all those affected and are looking into how this happened.”
Later, Information Commissioner's Office also passed a statement. In statement issued, it was revealed that investigation in response to reports of data breach is being looked after. statement also revealed that accused will be imposed with fines for privacy violations.
