Why Ron Perlman turned down Hellboy reboot?

In an interview with an entertainment portal, Ron Perlman said that only thing that is stopping third Hellboy film is fact that Guillermo del Toro is one of busiest guys in industry. He mentioned that Oscar-winning filmmaker cant make Hellboy 3 even if he wanted to, because he has alrey got much work lined up. actor stated that two films h thing to do with one ar.

Ron Perlman ded that Hellboy reboot was something he h opportunity to participate in. But he decided that only version of Big Red he is interested in is one he did with Guillermo del Toro. So he walked away from it and mentioned that he “truly walked away” from reboot as he has t seen film or heard much about it. Perlman ted that he wished reboot team well, but film was t in his territory.

first instalment titled as Hellboy was released in 2004. Written and directed by Guillermo del Toro, it stars Ron Perlman, Selma Blair, Jeffrey Tambor, Karel Roden, Rupert Evans, Doug Jones and John Hurt. movie received positive responses and was a success at box office.
