Haunting of Bly Mar is a supernatural horror drama web television series, which is loosely based on Henry James' 1898 vel called Turn of Screw. web series is helmed by Mike Flanagan and it is a follow-up series of  Haunting of Hill House. series is also second installment in  Haunting anthology.

How did Rebecca die in Haunting of Bly Mar? 

role of Rebecca Jessel is played by actor Tahirah Sharif. From very start, it is told to Dani that previous nanny of two children h killed herself in Bly Mar itself. Even housekeeper, Hannah tells Dani that Miss Jessel drowned herself into lake when her relationship with her boyfriend Peter Quint, played by Oliver Jackson-Cohen, failed. However, real reason is much deeper and significantly dark.

What actually happens in series is that Peter who is killed by "Ly of Lake", gets stuck in Mar as a ghost, as due to curse, one can escape Mar ever. Since he is stuck at Mar as a ghost, he tries to manipulate Rebecca so that she can also get stuck with him forever as a ghost. Peter gets into Rebecca's mind and drowns her at lake.

Haunting of Bly Mar plot

story of  Haunting of Bly Mar revolves around a young American au pair, Dani Clayton (Victoria Pedretti) who is hired by a wealthy man in England, to look after his niece and nephew. Dani arrives at family’s country house on Bly estate, kwn as Bly Mar. When Dani arrives that Bly Mar, she is informed by her new employer, children’s uncle Henry Wingrave, that last au pair h died on premises of house. 

As Dani goes about her day, completing her chores, she often keeps seeing a figure with holes for eyes in mirrors across house. One of most shocking revelations of film occurs when Dani realises that t only are children of Bly Mar aware of ghostly presence in house but y are also communicating with ghosts.  Haunting of Bly Mar is w streaming on Netflix and all nine episodes can be binge-watched on OTT platform.
