Jailer Box Office: Rajinikanth film to cross Rs 150 cr in India, mints Rs 300 cr worldwide

Rajnikanth’s Jailer earns huge numbers in the overseas market
Film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) that Rajnikanth starrer Jailer has zoomed past $4 million in the USA market on Day 4. He added, through another post, that Rajnikanth is the only actor who holds the record of having the maximum number of films that have done a business of Rs 100 cr or/and multiples of Rs 100 cr [Rs 200cr – Rs 800cr] in Tamil Nadu and worldwide. The film has already managed to cross the Rs 100 crore in a span of three days in India as per Sacnilk numbers and now it might soon touch the Rs 150 crore mark.

Another film trade analyst Ramesh Bala also said through a post on X about Jailer joining the $4 million club in the US market. This makes Rajinikanth the only actor with the highest number of $4 million grossers in that country, after Kabali and 2.0. Up until now, Jailer has earned Rs 141.1 crore in India, as per a report by Sacnilk, while its worldwide box office number was Rs 220 crore.
A day before, in an exclusive conversation with Republic Digital, film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan explained how the new film might cross Rs 300 crore very soon worldwide. He said, "Breakeven target was ₹250 cr. It has been achieved now. The movie's total after four days is above 300 crore.”
