'Jealous' Rana Daggubati didn't talk to Nag Ashwin after visiting the sets of Kalki 2898 AD

Kalki 2898 , formerly known as Project K, is one of 2024's most anticipated films. Kalki 2898 , billed as most expensive Indian film ever me, is written and directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjatanthi Movies. Rana Daggubati, who recently visited film's sets, expressed his miration for Ashwin for bringing to life a project that actor h always desired.
Rana Daggubati got jealous of Ashwin
In an interview with Film Companion, Rana said that he got jealous of Ashwin when he visited sets of Kalki. He said, “ first time I got jealous seeing somebody was when I went to sets of Kalki. Growing up, visual effects for me was Star Wars. That’s a film that I just loved watching. Funnilyy, Nagi (Nag Ashwin) also liked watching that film. And very few people get it. Like science fiction and all of it is not very mainstream.”

Rana Daggubati expressed his excitement for film Kalki 2898 , calling it a fantastic project that blends mythology and science fiction. actor shared, “And when I walked into set, I was like, ‘Sh*t, he’s making this. Like he’s making everything that I dreamt of.’ And I remember I didn’t talk to him that day. I went back home and I called him and said, ‘Dude, I’m really jealous. I don’t know why.’ And he said, ‘Dude, only when you’re jealous I know I’m doing right things.’ And it’s a story from mythology into science fiction. I’m very excited about what that film will do. It’s got biggest star cast. It’s got everything.”
Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Pukone, and Kamal Hassan will play prominent roles in upcoming film. Disha Patani will also play a pivotal role in film. Kalki 2898 , directed by Nag Ashwin, will hit big screens on January 12, 2024.
