'New Light' singer took to his Instagram account, and wrote, "Several weeks ago, I was sent an email asking if I wanted to take part in a Mac Miller tribute for a magazine as part of an end-of-year recap,"

"I passed on it, t because I didn't want to talk more about him, but because I couldn't; I h shared all memories I h of him in brief time of our getting to kw one ar, I replied to email and sat in silence for a few minutes," Mayer continued.
"That day, I discovered a new dimension to sness of his passing - I wasn't upset because I knew him well. I was upset because I didn't, I wish I h more to tell you about Mac Miller," 41-year-old said in heartfelt te.
He concluded by writing, "What I do have to remember him by is a couple of beautiful mental photographs that I'll keep with me rest of my life."
'Self-care' rapper passed away on September 07. According to TMZ, Miller died of a possible drug overdose in California. Miller h collaborated with big names in music industry included 'Maroon 5', singer Pharrell Williams, and even did a tour with rappers Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz.
