'K.G.F: Chapter 2' will star Prakash Raj in a new role, confirms director Prashanth Neel
In a recent interview with Cinema Express, 'K.G.F: Chapter 2' director Prashanth Neel confirmed that Prakash Raj has not replaced Anant Nag in the film.

In an interview with Cinema Express, filmmaker Prashanth Neel confirmed that actor Prakash Raj has t replaced Anant Nag in much-anticipated sequel of widely-acclaimed Kannada film, K.G.F. Refuting speculations, Prashanth Neel revealed that Prakash Raj will t take over any actor’s character, but will be a new entry in sequel movie. Rumours of Prakash Raj replacing Anant Nag took over social media handles when he first visited sets of film. Take a look:

Prashanth speaks about Sanjay's character
In his interview, Prashanth Neel also spoke about Sanjay Dutt’s character and revealed that actor was his first choice for role of Adheera. Speaking about Adheera’s character traits, Prashanth Neel revealed that Sanjay Dutt will be shown as a power-hungry man in film, who wishes to become ruler of Kolar gold mines and could go to any extent to get his dreams fulfilled. However, Prashanth Neel added that Sanjay’s character in movie is loyal to his bror, Suryavardhan, due to which he finally ends up leaving his dream of ruling gold mine. Prashanth Neel also revealed that K.G.F: Chapter 2 will be much bigger than first film.

Recently, makers of K.G.F: Chapter 2 restarted shooting for film post a 3-month hiatus. Confirming same on his Twitter handle, Vijay Kiragandur thanked Central Government & State Government for permitting film’s shoot. More so, he also confirmed that production house is following all necessary guidelines issued by Government.

Prakash Raj's last project
Prakash Raj recently made his debut on Discovery Plus by giving voiceover for documentary, Wild Karnataka. documentary captures flora and fauna of forests of Karnataka and reportedly premiered on June 5 at 8 p.m for World Environment Day. actor also took to his Twitter handle to share his experience working on project.
