Chungha tests positive for COVID-19

According to a report by South Asian Morning Post, Korean popstar Chungha whose full name is Kim Chung Ha has tested positive for COVID-19. She was informed that she has come in contact with someone who was a confirmed COVID-19 case. She was n told to get herself tested and report confirmed that she has contacted virus.

All members of girl group Twice have been told to remain in isolation as well because one of members Sana had come in contact with Chungha. Sana is undergoing testing for second time after coming in contact with Chungha. health of or members has sparked concerns as well. 

Chungha is latest Korean star after two members of boy band Up10tion tested positive. Two members of ar popular girl band Everglow had also tested positive for vel coronavirus last week. se rapid infections have sparked concerns over health of or Korean stars as re are suspects of having a coronavirus cluster in K-pop community.

band twice had attended Mnet Asian Music Awards (Mama) ceremony. This had led to sparking fears of an outbreak which could be linked to event. Ar girl group Iz*One were first ones to anunce that y would get mselves tested.

Many Korean artists have anunced that y will cancel ir album tours owing to pandemic. Popular band BTS has anunced that instead of ir New Year Eve concert being organised both live and online, it will w be conducted online. GFriend, Tomorrow X Toger and Nu’Est are reported to be performing in concert.
