Actor Politician Kamal Haasan on Wednesday took to his Twitter handle offering to convert his former house into a temporary hospital if needed and if government permits.
His tweet said, "At this crucial time, I am willing to convert my former house into a temporary hospital. doctors in Makkal Needhi Maiam are rey to serve patients also if government permits. In this time of crisis, I am trying to help people, to bring people in justice system, building that was my home, to temporarily help people." [sic]

Many Twitteratis were happy with Haasan's decision and lauded for his willingness to do same.

Meanwhile, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi anunced a strict 21-day lockdown due to a massive surge in number of Coronavirus cases in India, actor turned politician Kamal Haasan warned prime minister of possible impact that nation-wide curfew might have on life of daily w workers in country.
Kamal Haasan's tweet in Tamil broly translates as " government should think about where will daily wrs go to fill ir stomach during 21 days lockdown and do t igre ir plight. This is t time to help only rich industrialists; small and medium industries have always saved our ecomy. Those who igre m will lose ir positions. This is history."

Haasan's tweet was in reiteration to his open letter to prime minister urging him to think about " livelihood of millions of workers, agriculture and manual labourers, fishermen and MSME workers" during Coronavirus outbreak. He ded that Ecomic Response Task Force should ensure that re is drop in ws of labour force.
