Bagheera Trailer Draws Comparisons With KGF, Salaar: Are All Prashanth Neel's Movies Same?

Bagheera Trailer: Hombale Films has released trailer for its upcoming action-packed vigilante drama Bagheera. Set to hit big screens on October 31, Sriimurali seems to be all geared up to bring fireworks to box office. However, netizens were quick to notice that tonality of production house's latest film is similar to ir blockbuster hits in past - Yash starrer KGF franchise and Prabhas ' Salaar. Many questioned if Prashanth Neel and Homable Films are sticking to a tried and tested formula.

Bagheera trailer out, Sriimurali goes all out

While trailer keeps plotline hidden, it does indicate that Sriimurali will essay role of a vigilante. Bagheera, title character, takes matters into his own hands as city is infested with criminals. He fights hardened criminals and outlaws and assassinates m without mercy, all while cops try to hunt him down for being an outlaw. Under Suri's direction, film will look to take over box office as it hits big screens on Diwali.

With Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again arriving in cinema halls around same time, it seems like Bagheera will have a difficult time in replicating success of Hombale Film's previous releases Salaar and KGF in North markets.

Netizens find similarities with Neel's cinematic universe

Prashanth Neel has written story of Bagheera and also serves as one of creative minds behind project. Since tonality and music of Bagheera resembled some of Neel's films in past, many drew comparisons between Bagheera, Salaar and KGF, saying latest film from Hombale looks like a rehash of older ones. 

Bagheera, set to release on October 31, also stars  Rukmini Vasanth, Prakash Raj, Rangayana Raghu, Achyuth Kumar and Garuda Ram.
