Kichcha Sudeep's Mother Saroja Sanjeev Dies At 86 Due To Age-related Ailments

Kichcha Sudeep is a popular Kannada actor. In a personal tragedy, his mother Saroja Sanjeev breathed her last today, October 20. As per media reports, Saroja was 86 years old and was battling age-related ailments. She was admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru where she passed away.  Her last rites will reportedly be conducted at the actor's residence in JP Nagar, Bengaluru at noon today. 

Kichcha Sudeep's mother passes away

As per reports, Saroja Sanjeev was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, she breathed her last at 7 am on October 20. Her mortal remains will be brought to the actor's residence at JP Nagar around noon. 

It remains unclear if Kichcha Sudeep was with his mother at the time of her passing. Nevertheless, he has always spoken fondly of his mother and the impact she has had on his career. Most recently, the Makkhi actor spoke about his mother on an episode of Bigg Boss Kannada, which he hosts. He had earlier mentioned that his mother hailed from Mangalore, making Tullu his mother language. 

Her last rites will be held later today. Several industry insiders from Sandalwood are expected to be present at the funeral.

As soon as the news of Saroja's passing surfaced, several shared their condolences and tributes for her online. The Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka DK Shivakumar shared a photo of Kichcha Sudeep with his mother and wrote, "I pray that the departed soul may rest in eternal peace and may the Lord grant Sudeep and his family the strength to bear the pain of bereavement."

In 2019, Kichcha Sudeep penned a note for his mother on the occasion of Mother's Day. He shared a selfie with her and wrote, “A very happy mother's day to every mother,, for ur unconditional luv n never ending sacrifices. Happy mothers day to u too Amma,,For just about everything.”
