'KGF 3 Will Happen', Confirms Yash; Reveals Why The Sequel Is Getting Delayed

KGF star Yash has shared a big update on KGF: Chapter 3. He will be collaborating with Salaar director Prashanth Neel. Yash will next be seen in Toxic.

Kannada superstar Yash became a household name after KGF became a blockbuster. The actor set the cash registers ringing with both the first and second part of KGF. Yash is currently busy filming his upcoming project Toxic: A Fairytale . In a recent interview, the actor spilled the beans on third part of KGF.

Yash: KGF 3 will happen for sure

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Yash confirmed his collaboration with the filmmaker Prashanth Neel and said that they are planning very big. He said, “KGF 3 will happen for sure, I promise. But I am focusing on these two projects. We keep talking about it, we have an idea, once it is right time, it is massive so that is also something that really needs all our attention and focus."

Yash continued, “We really do not want to cash on anything because the audience has given us enough so we are going to doing it in a way that they will be proud of. Because that’s a cult that people celebrate. They have accepted that character in such a level. Me and Prasanth keep discussing, we will come up with something massive this time”.

For the unversed, KGF franchise ended with lead KGF: Chapter 3. The film tells the story of young man Rocky who seeks for wealth and power to fulfil his mother’s wish. The film stars Srinidhi Shetty, Ramachandra Raju, Anant Nag, Archana Jois, and Achyuth Kumar.

What’s next for Yash?

Yash will next be seen in Toxic: A Fairytale, which has been delayed for reasons unknown. The film was supposed to release on April 10, 2025. He told to the same publication, “We had to start a little early, but something went wrong.

We had some date issues, so it took more time than expected. I won’t be able to come out with the film on that date."
