Brilliant! KFC posts 'Finger-Lickin' Funny' meme for Prince William peeping into its store

KFC has jumped on the bandwagon of responding to the viral image of Prince William peeking into one of its restaurants with a lighthearted response on Twitter.

fast-food chain, KFC has jumped on bandwagon of responding to viral im of Prince William peeking into one of its restaurants with a ligharted response. Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had made a surprise visit into London on October 20 and met with some of finalists of Kate’s ‘Hold Still’ photography project. However, while royal couple was in Waterloo, Prince William was snapped peeking inside a KFC restaurant before waving to customers dining inside.

Since n, pictures of Duke of Cambridge had taken internet by storm leaving hundreds of internet users amused. Many even made it into a joke about a range of different topics. w, KFC UK joined meme-fest by writing a caption starting off by “William whispered…” that he “can’t wait to be wing”. This was followed by ar tweet where fast-food chain said that it is regretting t mentioning Duke of Cambridge as “His Royal Highness”. Neverless, KFC’s response was also well-received by internet users with one of m saying “brilliant, you both”. Take a look:

‘Hold Still’ launched by Duchess of Cambridge

initiative launched by Kate is in collaboration with National Portrait Gallery which is a competition aiming to document “humour and grief, creativity and kindness, trdy and hope” of country amid COVID-19 pandemic. Even though re were reportedly 31,000 submissions, only 100 made it to finalists assessed on “emotions and experiences y conveyed”. Duke and Duchess of Cambridge even shared ims from ir visit saying “Hold Still comes outdoors”.

Earlier, one year after Royal couple visited Pakistan, Kate Middleton and Prince William indulged in a virtual catching up session with teachers and students of Islamabad Model College for Girls and even played a game of Pictionary. As per social media post by Kensington Palace, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge congratulated teachers on ir hard world and even enquired with young girls if y were happy on schools reopening amid COVID-19 pandemic.
