BTS Jin, J-Hope to Got 7’s Jay B, K-pop idols set to return from military enlistment in 2024

K-pp idols leaving for their mandatory military service is one of the most challenging times for fans as they eagerly anticipate for their return. For the unversed, the mandatory military enlistement lasts for 18 to 21 months in South Korea. However, fans can look forward to several K-pop idols returning from their military enlistement in 2024. BTS's Jin, J-Hope, GOT7's Jinyoung are amongst them.

BTS' Jin and J-Hope

The eldest BTS member, Kim Seokjin, known as Jin, commenced military service on December 13, 2022. Anticipated to return on June 12, 2024, his solo endeavours post-return ignite excitement among fans. Fellow BTS member Jung Hoseok, or J-Hope, who began his service on April 17, 2023, is slated for discharge on October 17, 2024.

GOT7's Jay B and Jinyoung

For GOT7 fans (Ahgases), the wait for the return of Jay B and Jinyoung continues. Jay B, known as Lim Jae Beom, started his service on February 2, 2023, with an expected discharge in early November 2024. Jinyoung, who entered military duty on May 8, 2023, is projected to complete his service on November 4, 2024.

Other K-pop idols who will return from their military enlistment

Former Monsta X member Lee Ho Seok, popularly known as Wonho, initiated his military service on December 5, 2022, and is set for discharge on September 4, 2024. Joining the lineup are Mino, Seungyoon, and Minhyuk, who are expected to complete their service on September 22, 2024, December 20, 2024, and October 3, 2024, respectively.

Jaeyoon's return from the military

Additionally, Jaeyoon embarked on his military journey on March 21, 2023, and is due to complete his service on September 19, 2024. The scheduled comebacks of these K-pop idols after fulfilling their military duties bring a wave of anticipation and excitement among fans worldwide.
