Gyeongseong Creature Fame Han So Hee’s Mother Arrested For Operating Illegal Gambling Dens
Korean News: Gyeongseong Creature star Han So Hee’s mother has landed in legal trouble after she was caught running gambling dens in South Korea.
Korean News: Seems like Han So Hee landed in hot waters after the actress’ mother has been caught up in illegal gambling and more horrifying details have come out. The actress is best known for her performance in the series Gyeongseong Creature. Fans are awaiting for the second season of the show scheduled to be released on September 27.
Han So Hee’s mother arrested?
According to reports of Koreaboo, the police have arrested Han So Hee’s mother on charges of operating illegal gambling dens. It was reported that she was operating a total of 12 gambling dens across Ulsan, Wonju and more since 2021. Customers would load their credits onto a gambling site before indulging in games.
Reports suggest that, the actress’ mother was not only the mastermind, but also hired another person to act as the figurehead. Apart from the gambling case, she currently has other priors to her name, including scams, fines for illegal gambling and more. For the unversed, gambling is illegal in South Korea.
This is not the first offence of Han So Hee’s mother. Earlier, the actress had apologised for her mother’s past debts, and despite having an estranged relationship, she even paid off a portion of the debt.

Han So Hee is a South Korean actress who began her career as a supporting character in shows including Money Flower, 100 Days My Prince and Abyss. After gaining recognition through lead roles, she has played lead roles in World of the Married, Nevertheless, My Name and Gyeongseong Creature. Han So Hee has also appeared in the music video of Seven along with BTS member Jungkook.
Han So Hee will next be seen in the second season of Gyeongseong Creature. The first part of the show highlights the incidents that took place in 1945 and the events of the second part will take place in 2024. Directed by Jung Dong Yoon, the series will also star Claudia Kim, Park Set-soon and Ji-woo. Gyeongseong Creature 2 is scheduled to premiere on September 27.
