SEVENTEEN's South Korean Concert Paused As Fire Breaks Out On Stage, CARATS Laud Swift Action

The K-pop boy band SEVENTEEN has won a large audience since its debut and has grown into an internationally recognized K-pop group with signature music and performances. The band was set to perform a live gig in South Korea when a mishap was averted. Their concert was disrupted by a fire in a nearby area. 

Mishap averted during SEVENTEEN’s concert in South Korea

A minor accident occurred during SEVENTEEN’s concert at the Goyang stadium in South Korea recently. Minutes before the group took to the stage to kick start their World Tour in Goyang, South Korea, on October 12, a staff member noticed smoke from a light fixture. This led to a delay in starting the show, but no mishaps took place. 

According to reports, the concert was temporarily paused to allow for smoke evacuation for smoke and ensure the well-being of the group members and the CARATS (audience) as well. The swift action resulted in no injuries. Several videos from the video are going viral on social media. Despite the tense situation and the visible fears on fans' faces, the members managed to keep things light.

SEVENTEEN’s World Tour

SEVENTEEN consists of thirteen members: S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino.  Joshua, Woozi, Jeonghan, DK, and Seungkwan comprise the vocal unit. While S.Coups, Mingyu, Wonwoo, and Vernon are part of the hip-hop unit, Hoshi, Jun, Dino, and The8 form the performance unit.

They are considered a "self-producing" idol group, with the members involved in songwriting, music production, and choreographing, among other aspects of their music and performances. They are all set to release their 12th mini-album, SPILL THE FEELS, on October 14. The upcoming album will mark the K-pop group's first comeback in approximately six months. Their ongoing world tour will make stops in Japan and the United States at multiple venues after South Korea and will run from October 12 to December 22. Jeonghan and Jun are currently serving in the military.
