'Let religious hatred end': Rajinikanth lauds TN govt for removal of video hurting Tamils
Rajinikanth lauded the Tamil Nadu government for the removal of a video that had made a vulgar interpretation of hymn on Lord Muruga, and hurt Tamils.

Rajinikanth expressed his displeasure at an offensive interpretation of a Tamil hymn Kanda Sashti Kavacham, in glory of Lord Muruga and praised AIMK-led Tamil Nu government for action against creators of video. actor wrote that video h ‘hurt crores of Tamils’. actor-politician asserted that it was time for ‘religious hatred’ to end as he welcomed removal of video.

As per a report on PTI, Rajinikanth wrote, “ denigration of Kanda Sashti Kavacham, a Tamil hymn sung in praise of Lord, h hurt "crores of Tamils. My wholehearted appreciation to Tamil Nu government for quick action taken against those who h very bly denigrated Kanda Sashti Kavacham."
Calling vulgar interpretation of hymn as a 'lowly act', Sivaji: Boss star ded, "Atleast w, let religious hatred and God-baiting end. It has to". He also wrote 'Kandanukku Arogara' to praise Lord Muruga, while ding that ‘all religions were one.’
