Amala Paul-Jagat Desai Welcome Baby Boy, Reveal Son's Name: Meet Our Little Miracle

Amala Paul and Jagat Desai have finally become parents to an adorable baby boy. The new parents shared a joint post on their social media handle informing their fans about the arrival of their son. In the video, they also unveiled the unique name of their little munchkin.

Taking to their Instagram handle and shared a video of the new parents getting a hearty welcome from their family. They also showed their son's room which was beautifully decorated with balloons. In the caption, Jagat revealed that their son was born on June 11 and they have named him Ilai. "'It's a boy' !! Meet our little miracle, "ILAI" born on 11.06.2024," read the caption. The baby's name Ilai means 'to ascend' in Hebrew. He was a man of King David in the Old Testament.

Amala tied the knot with entrepreneur Jagat Desai in 2023. They confirmed about expecting their first child in January 2024.

Soon after they dropped the post, their industry friends flooded the comment section. Pearle Maaney wrote, "Awwwwww welcome home baby !!!!!" Rajarajan Raja Mahendiran wrote, "Lovely! Congrats to the mom and dad of Ilai. What is the meaning of the name!? Is it the same as - Leaf in Tamil!?" Their fans simply wrote, "Congratulations," love-struck emoticons.

The actress was last seen in Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life, based on Benyami's novel of the same name. Next, she will be seen in Level Cross, co-starring Asif Ali and Sharafudheen. The movie marks the directorial debut of  Arfaz Ayub. The teaser of the film promises intense performances and a gripping storyline.
