Bougainvillea Box Office Day 3: This Fahadh Faasil Starrer Performs Better Than Vettaiyan In Kerala
Interestingly, Vettaiyan did less business in Kerala than Bougainvillea in its 2nd weekend despite Fahadh playing a pivotal role in TJ Gnanvel's Vettaiyan.

Bougainvillea Box Office: latest Malayalam film Bougainvillea starring Kunchacko Boban and Jyothirmayi in leing roles and Fahh Faasil in an extended cameo has shown strong legs since its release on October 17. In three days, it managed to collect ₹8.68 crore in India, with most of its collections coming from Kerala . Interestingly, anor film featuring Fahh is running in cinema halls - Vettaiyan. Bougainvillea, however, is performing better in state than Rajinikanth-fronted pan-India movie.

According to a report in Sacnilk, Bougainvillea has collected ₹8.68 crore in three days in India and ₹5.5 crore overseas. film's worldwide collection stands at ₹12 crore, with first weekend collection looking good for film. Amal Neer's thriller opened to mixed reviews, with many divided over ir response to crime thriller. However, some lauded Bougainvillea as a departure from Am's stylish action films for a more subtle tonality and storytelling. Seems like re are takers for this movie.

What is Bougainvillea about?
Bougainvillea revolves around a couple, Royce (Kunchacko Boban) and Reethu (Jyothirmayi), who meet with a nasty accident. after-effect of accident: Reethu suffers from Anterogre and Retrogre amnesia. Enter David Koshy (Fahh Faasil) who visits Reethu's home and asks her about whereabouts of a missing girl. His interrogation hits a roblock because of Reethu's memory. What follows next forms crux of story.

Sharaf U Dheen, Veena Nandakumar and Srinda play supporting roles in movie. Fahh plays a small but pivotal part in movie. Aavesham actor was also part of director Amal Neer's Varathan (2018), which was a commercial success.
