Cheena Trophy trailer out, Dhyan Sreenivasan and Devika Ramesh starrer promises to be a laugh riot

Cheena Trophy, trailer was out on Monday, December 4. Directed by Anil Lal and produced by Anoop Mohan, the movie which was earlier expected to hit the theatres on October 6 is all set to release on December 8. To raise more expectations of the fans, the trailer was released by the makers has added more curiosity for the movie.
 
The trailer of the comedy-drama is interesting because of various reasons. The reasons are comic visuals, promising acting, and impressive dialogues. This film is all about hope, redemption, friendship, and unexpected assistance from the unknown. The music composer for the film is Sooraj Santhosh.

Under the banner of Presidential Productions,  the movie is directed by Anil Lal,  the movie stars Dhyan Sreenivasan, Devika Ramesh, and Ponnamma Babu in pivotal roles. This movie is produced by Ashlin Mary Joy, Anoop Mohan, and Lijo Ulahannan.

Cheena Trophy is the debut movie of actress Devika Ramesh for a female lead in the Malayalam film industry.  Reportedly, the makers have also signed a Chinese actress for a role in the Cheena Trophy.  The movie is all about the story of a farmer and the struggles of his life. The comedy-drama has elements of satire and movie watchers will be entertained after watching the movie.

How Cheena Trophy is important for Dhyan 

In an earlier interview with OTT Play, Dhyan revealed the reason for continuously signing projects since the pandemic. “I had been busy with the directorial duties of Love Action Drama and that took me two years. After that, the pandemic lockdown was announced and suddenly I found myself with no projects at all. I became financially insecure because it was a time when projects weren’t happening in Malayalam and decided to sign the good films that came my way.”  

The movie went on floors on July 1. Johny Antony will play the role of a communist party member, while Jaffer Idukki will portray the role of an autorickshaw driver in the movie and Dhyan is essaying the role of a young woman among the commoners.
