Perilloor Premier League trailer: Nikhila Vimal fights election against Ashokan in political comedy

Malayalam web series, Perilloor Premier League, will debut on Disney+ Hotstar next year. Ahe of its release, makers unveiled trailer of show on Wednesday. It seemed to be set in a rural backdrop, where a gram panchayat election is about to take place.

Perilloor Premier League’s trailer promises a laugh-riot. It suggested a cartoonish comedy that arises from misfortune of its various inhabitants, with its rural setting and a multitude of characters against backdrop of an election. 

Playing role of Malavika in series, Nikhila Vimal appears to have been handpicked to run against Ashokan's character, anor unlikely contender. Parallely, Sunny Wayne's character seems to be searching for his perfect match. 

storyline of series may revolve around how characters of two come toger. Looking at trailer, Perilloor Premier League looks to be more lavish than previous Malayalam long-format productions that are presently available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar,
