Saripodhaa Sanivaaram
Directed by Vivek Athreya, the vigilante action thriller is said to be Nani's most expensive film with a budget of 90 crore. The film also stars S. J. Suryah, Priyanka Mohan, Abhirami, Aditi Balan, P. Sai Kumar and Subhalekha Sudhakar. The story follows Surya, who fights against injustice on Saturday and locks horns with corrupt Inspector R. Dayanand, who brutally attacks innocent people for petty reasons. The movie is slated to hit the theatres on August 29.
A Wedding Story
A supernatural horror film directed by Abhinav Pareek, starring Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Mukti Mohan, Lakshvir Singh Saran, Monica Chaudhary and Akshay Anand. The movie is slated to hit the theatres on August 30.
Binny and Family
The movie marks the debut of Varun Dhawan's niece Anjini Dhawan. The family drama, backed by Ektaa Kapoor's Balaji Motion Picture, is helmed by Ssanjay Tripaathi. The film also stars veteran actor Pankaj Kapur, Himani Shivpuri, Rajesh Kumar, and Charu Shankar. The film carries the tagline “Har Generation Kuch Kehta Hai” and explores relationships between different generations. It has a message for every generation and focuses on family dynamics and understanding across different age groups. The movie will release on August 30.
Pad Gaye Pange
The story follows Shastri Ji, a retired math teacher, who shares his home with his son Nilesh and daughter-in-law Madhu. Madhu desires a new apartment, away from Shastri Ji's quirks. Ayush leads a monotonous life, brightened by his girlfriend Parul. Helmed by Santosh Kumar, the movie stars Samarpan Singh, Rajesh Sharma and Rajpal Naurang Yadav. The movie will release on August 30.
Laughing Buddha
Inspired by a real incident in Himachal Pradesh, the comedy thriller explores the life and personal struggles of a police head constable named Govardhan. The Kannada drama is set to release on August 30.
