Mumbai police posted an im which showed two options that people can choose from amid current situation. While first option was ‘lockdown’, second option was blank. post also included an instruction at bottom which re, “Tap to reveal second option”. Meanwhile, caption of post re, “t that we will make you uncomfortable, but re's place like home right?”

Once you tap im, ‘lockup’ pops up as second option tagged on post. Thus, in a great play of wit, Mumbai police have once again asked people to abide by lockdown measures or be rey to be ‘locked up’ for violations. Instagram users surely loved post and flooded comment section with praises for department.

While one internet user wrote, “Hats off to creativity!,” ar user ded, “Damn! That's so creative!”. A user even asked, "What!, are you underground memer?”. “My goodness! Showing who’s real boss. Nailed it. And it's time we need this ultimatum or we’d never be free of this virus,” ded ar user.

Ever since nationwide lockdown has been anunced, Mumbai police have used Twitter as a medium to raise awareness as well as give people some form of meme goal at time of crisis.
Last week, department used Sarabhai vs Sarabhai memes to make people aware of importance of wearing masks and practising social distancing. It has also shared Powerpuff Girls memes and Harry Potter post to inform citizens about dely infection. Indian Premier League and old Vodafone vertisements have also found a mention in Mumbai police awareness campaign.
