Netflix renews 'Bridgerton', the Shonda Rhimes-produced period drama, for Season 2
Netflix has renewed the Shonda Rhimes' produced Bridgerton for Season 2. The next season will be based on 'The Viscount Who Loved Me' by author Julia Quinn.

It was also anunced that next season will begin filming in spring of 2021, with most of cast members returning, and with new ditional cast members also joining.
