Ardent fans of American cartoonist and comics writer elle Stevenson of She-Ra and Princesses of Power fame were left disappointed after Disney anunced shutting down Blue Sky Studios, which also les to cancelling ir much-awaited animated film Nimona. film, which has been in development since 2015, was shelved just a year before its release date. For unversed, Nimona movie was slated to hit silver screen in January 2022.

After news of Disney cancelling elle Stevenson aptation in less than one year from Nimona movie's release broke internet, elle took to her Twitter handle to express being disheartened and thanked fans for showering Nimona with los of "care" and "joy". Eisner Award winner tweeted writing, "S day. Thanks for well wishes, and sending so much love to everyone at Blue Sky. Forever grateful for all care and joy you poured into Nimona". As soon as her tweet surfaced on micro-blogging platform, fans flocked to comment section of her tweet to express ir disappointment about same.
