October Movie Releases: With a slew of festivals lined up, the coming month is going to be an extravaganza for movie lovers, who will get to see the best of Indian cinema on the big screens. Popular Hindi, Tamil and Telugu titles will look to vie for audiences' attention and make the most of their box office run.

Jigra

Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina star in Vasan Bala's action thriller Jigra, set to release on the big screens on October 10, right ahead of Dussehra. The film promises to show the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress in a never-seen-before avatar.

Vettaiyan

Director TJ Gnanavel has assembled a star-studded cast for his much-awaited pan-India film Vettaiyan. Apart from Rajinikanth playing the role of an encounter specialist, the movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan , Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier and many more. Vettaiyan will release on October 10.

Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video

Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri have teamed for the first time for Raaj Shaandilyaa's comedy film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. It will release on October 11 in India.

Vidaamuyarchi is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni. It stars Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan in lead roles and will release on October 31, right ahead of Diwali.

Lucky Baskhar

Dulquer Salmaan stars in Lucky Baskhar. Set in the 80s, the film follows the titular banker's mysterious rise from rags to riches. After multiple delays, the film will arrive in cinema halls on October 31.
