Bigg Boss OTT 3: Husband Of 2, Armaan Called Hypocrite For Not 'Tolerating' Wife's Second Marriage

Armaan Malik has been one of the most talked about contestants in the Bigg Boss OTT house so far. The Youtuber has grabbed the attention of social media for his polygamous relationship with his two wives Payal and Kritika, who are also contestants on the show. Most recently, a comment made by him on the show was received with massive flak by netizens. 

Armaan Malik’s double standards exposed on Bigg Boss OTT 3

An incident from inside the Bigg Boss house has gone viral on social media. In one of the episodes, contestant Sana Makbul confronts Armaan about his polygamous relationship with his wives. She put the Youtuber on the spot and asked him how he would react if the situations were reversed and if Payal decided to get another husband while being married to him would he have been okay with it. She asked him, “Role ko ulta kardo, Payal ji agar kisi aadmi ko laati, will you be okay with it?' (Reverse the role, Payal ji. If she brings a man, will you be okay with it?).” 

An infuriated Armaan answered, “Voh laake kya ghar mein rakhegi? Voh baad ki baat hai, inka koi jawab thodi hai. (She will not bring and keep him at my home. These questions don't need to be answered).” Upon further insistence by Sana, Armaan clarified that even though his first wife Payal accepted him marrying Kritika and agreed to live in the same house with them, he would have never done the same thing had the roles been reversed. He said, “'Payal ne accept kar liya, main nahi karta. Agar shaadi karke Payal laati hai kisi ko toh bhaiya tu apne ghar khush, main apne ghar khush.(Payal accepted it, I would not have. If she decided to get married to someone else then she can live separately).” Armaan’s comments have been doing rounds on social media with netizens calling him out for his double standards. 

Payal Malik reveals her first reaction to Armaan Malik deciding to marry Kritika 

In a previous episode of Bigg Boss OTT 3, Payal Malik will be seen venting to journalist Deepak Chaurasia about her husband Armaan Malik’s second marriage. With the first week over in the controversial reality show, contestants are beginning to warm up to each other. While having a conversation about her husband Armaan’s second marriage with Chaurasia, Payal said: "I didn’t want to accept Armaan’s second marriage initially. I was at the venue, and I remember leaving because I didn’t feel good about it."

She told her fellow housemate that she left her husband and their home with their son Cheeku for a year. "I left the house with my son Cheeku and stayed away for almost a year. It was a very bad phase for me; I even had thoughts of self-harm. Later, I decided to be strong, accept the situation, and go back," she said. Payal explained that she thought about her son before returning to Armaan. “I also thought of my child, as otherwise he would have been left without one parent.”
