Devara On OTT: Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor's ₹500 Grosser's Streaming Details Out

Devara OTT Release: Koratala Siva’s Telugu action drama was released in theatres on September 27, and grossed more than ₹500 crores worldwide. A story of a village chief's son secretly continuing his father's mission to end smuggling featured power stars including, Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles and the music for it was composed by Anirudh Ravichander. After a successful run on big screens, the movie is now all set to make its digital premiere on the OTT platform. 

When and where to watch Jr NTR’s Devara on OTT?

As per the 123telegu reports, Netflix India plans to stream the action film on November 8. An official announcement is still pending. 

It will be fascinating to find out if the movie achieves similar success on its streaming debut as it did in theatres.

Devara Part 1 had a successful run

Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor star in the pan-India action drama Devara Part 1, which has become a success after 18 days at the box office. The film's strong performance primarily comes from the Telugu markets, while the Hindi version has contributed less than anticipated.

The filmmakers announced that Devara surpassed the ₹500 crore milestone on October 13, its 18th day in theatres. As reported by Sacnilk, the film's total collection in India across all languages is ₹275 crore. It earned ₹215.6 crore in its first week, but revenue dropped significantly in the second week to ₹45.25 crore.

In the Hindi market, Devara has generated just over ₹59 crore. This film marked Saif Ali Khan's debut in Telugu cinema, and his performance has received considerable acclaim. While his and Janhvi Kapoor 's presence attracted audiences, the overall collections remain underwhelming. Additionally, the release of new Hindi films, Jigra and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, during Dusshera has hindered Devara's box office performance.
