GOAT OTT release: Thalapathy Vijay’s 68th film was released in cinemas on September 5 and received a remarkable collection. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, GOAT is an action thriller that portrays Vijay in dual roles. The film features a strong supporting cast, including Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Ajmal Ameer, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren, and Yugendran in significant parts. Following its successful run in theatres, the film is now preparing for its debut on OTT.

Greatest Of All Time: When and Where to watch the film online?

As the recent announcement made, GOAT is set to debut on Netflix on October 3. The streaming platform revealed this via their social media accounts. They shared a post featuring the film, stating, "Ever seen a lion become a G.O.A.T?! Thalapathy Vijay’s The G.O.A.T- The Greatest Of All Time is coming to Netflix on 3 October in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada & Hindi. #TheGOATOnNetflix." Along with the announcement, they released a new poster showcasing Vijay looking at another version of himself, as he plays dual roles in the movie.

Before the OTT release date announcement, director Venkat Prabhu expressed his gratitude on X (former Twitter), stating, “God is kind!!! Thanks to each and every one of you who made our #GOAT #TheGreatestOfAllTime a Mega BLOCKBUSTER.” Fans eagerly await the film's release on the platform. Media reports indicate that Netflix acquired the digital rights for approximately Rs 90 crore.

As reported by Sacnilk.com, the film received positive reviews upon its release and grossed ₹449.35 crore globally, with nearly ₹249 crore of that coming from India.

The director of GOAT expressed satisfaction with the film surpassing the ₹400 crore mark worldwide. However, its performance outside Tamil Nadu did not meet expectations, possibly due to competition from other releases, including Devara: Part 1, featuring Jr NTR, Meiyazhagan, starring Karthi, and Lubber Pandhu.
