Movies On OTT This Weekend: Buddy, Interrogation, The Deliverance And More Titles To Binge-watch

As Thursday is here, so is our list of movies that are slated to go live on the OTT platforms over the weekend. While some are slated to premiere today, August 29, others will release on Friday, so that you can binge-watch the movies during your week off. From Allu Sirish's Buddy to The Deliverance, the digital platforms (Netflix, Prime Video, Lionsgate and Prime Video) promise movies in various genres.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire

An all-new adventure that pits the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence—and our own. the movie is currently streaming on JioCinema.

Buddy

Allur Sirish starrer is an adaptation of the Tamil film Teddy. The story follows Pallavi, an Air Traffic Control officer, who suffers a major accident. The doctor along with his crew sends Gayatri into a coma so that he can sell her body parts in Hong Kong. While all this happens, Pallavi's soul enters a teddy bear and reaches the home of a pilot Aditya Ram who shares a past with Pallavi. The rest of the story is about how the teddy bear and Aditya head to Hong Kong to save the body of Pallavi. The movie release on August 2 and earned mixed reviews from the critics. Now, it's not even a month and the movie is set to debut on OTT on August 30.

Interrogation

Starring Rajpal Yadav, Abhimanyu Singh, Ritooja Shinde, Yashpal Sharma, and Manu Singh, among others, the film is directed by Ajoy Varma Raja. the movie is about Badle ki kahani ka hai ye ek naya roop— bemisaal kahaani, jaha hai action, emotions, aur suspense” which translates to: This is a story of revenge in a new way that will have action, emotions, and suspense. It will premiere on August 30 on ZEE5.

The Deliverance

Single parent Ebony Jackson moves her family to a new home for a fresh start, but something evil already lives there. Inspired by terrifying true events. It stars Andra Day, Glenn Close and Mo'Nique and will premiere on Netflix on August 30.
