Samantha Ruth Prabhu is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated web show Citadel: Honey Bunny. The upcoming show, co-starring Varun Dhawan is an official Indian remake of the English series starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. Ahead of the release, a report suggests that the actress was paid a whopping amount as a fee.

How much Samantha Ruth Prabhu was paid for Citadel: Honey Bunny?

According to a report in 123Telugu.com Samantha has been paid Rs 10 crore as her fee for Citadel: Honey Bunny. This is reportedly the highest amount the actress has made from a project in her career to date. However, the actress is yet to address the speculation.

What do we know about Citadel: Honey Bunny?

Created by Raj & DK, the series also stars Sikandar Kher, Kay Kay Menon, Saqib Saleem and Emma Canning in pivotal roles. The series is touted to give a background story of Priyanka. During the teaser launch, Samantha opened up about her experience working with Varun and said, "All he thinks about from the moment he wakes up is how to improve his craft. He’s constantly focused on how to perform each scene better. Not only is he dedicated to his work, but he’s also one of the nicest human beings I’ve ever met." She added that Varun has brought a "completely new vision" to his role in Citadel, particularly in the action scenes, offering a fresh and unique approach.

The spy thriller will release on Prime Video on November 7.

What's next for Samantha Ruth Prabhu?

The actress, who has been away from the film industry owing to her health, is yet to announce her next project. She was last seen alongside Vijay Devarakonda in Kushi (2023).
