Mirzapur Season 3 Teaser: 'Wounded Lion' Pankaj Tripathi As Kaleen Bhaiya Is Back To Fight Ali Fazal

Finally, the makers of Mirzapur have announced the release date of the third instalment of the action-crime-thriller series. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer, this time, the season will feature 10 episodes, with stakes higher and the canvas bigger. The makers have unveiled a thriller teaser to announce the release date.

When will Mirzapur Season 3 be release?

The Prime Video shared over 1-minute teaser on YouTube which opens with animals living in the jungle fighting for their life. In the background, we can hear Kulbhushan Kharbanda saying, "When a powerful male and agile female are on the hunt there is a rumble in the jungle. but in the battle of the jungle, the lion isn't the only contender for the crown." Then enters Guddu Pandit (played by Ali Fazal), who breaks the statue of Kaleen Tripathi (Pankaj Tripathi). The teaser also introduces Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi, Vijay Varma and Isha Talwar's characters, all looking strong. Will Kaleen Bhaiya, the mafia don, be able to reclaim his power and throne in Mirzapur? Watch the series releasing on July 5 on Prime Video.

What else do we know about Mirzapur?

The series follows the story of Akhandanand Tripathi (played by Pankaj Tripathi), also known as Kaleen Bhaiya, the mafia don and fictional ruler of Mirzapur in the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh. The third season will also star Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chadha, Manu Rishi Chadha and Lilliput.
