PI Meena trailer: A Suitable Boy actress Tanya Maniktala leads thriller series set in Kolkata

makers of P.I. Meena recently released trailer of series which will be led by Tanya Maniktala. thriller show is set in city of Kolkata and features Maniktala lay titular role of Meena. Meena is short for Meenakshi Iyer - a young private detective. She finds herself in midst of a case involving a death which presumably occurred due to a ro accident. However, all is not as it seems as she slowly starts stringing toger pieces of puzzle.

Meena slowly realises that death may just be linked to a virus outbreak, that too one involving a mysterious fever. As thrill sets in, trailer reveals P.I. Meena to in fact also have mes of a survival thriller - an up and coming genre in Indian OTT space, a very recent example of it being Mona Singh starrer and Sameer Saxena helmed Kaala Paani which is currently streaming o Netflix.

P.I. Meena has several eminent names attached to it

Not just Tanya Maniktala, but P.I. Meena will also star Bengali actors Parambrata Chattophyay, Jisshu Sengupta along with Vinay Pathak and Zarina Wahab. Jisshu Sengupta will be essaying role of Dr. Andrew Rakhaw, a glimpse of which can be seen in trailer. 

Split across eight episodes, P.I. Meena will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video starting November 3.
